In an interview after his first participation at the Race Across America Wolfgang Fasching just said "I want that. I can that. Thats great."when they asked him about his mental strength. Bit by bit I started to consider certain mechanisms in the brain and how these enabled me to achieve such goals. In my books you will find these mechanisms as a central thread. It didn't make a difference for me if I was on my bike or hiking up a high mountain, the strategy to solve the situation successfully was always the same. These strategies are simple and anyone can use them to reach their personal goals. In 2007 Fasching finished his cycling career. His is talking about his experiences in lectures and seminars. He wants to show people that they can reach their personal goals if they really want to. Fasching held more than 500 lectures and seminars for a lot of well known german speaking companies. He was selling more than 30.000 books ("Du schaffst was Du willst").
